1) Discovery World

3) The Urban Ecology Center

Kids learn about nature and ecology in an urban setting near UWM. Located on 15 acres of wooded land, the Urban Ecology Center offers a chance for kids to play and learn about animals and nature.

4) Milwaukee Public Museum

Milwaukee's natural history museum in downtown has exhibits and fun for kids of all ages. Be sure to check out the butterfly and the IMAX theatre, along with all the exhibits.

5) Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee Art Museum, located along Lake Michigan, offers adults and kids a great way to spend the day. Featuring activities for kids and a children's area with activities related to the current featured exhibit, the Milwaukee Art Museum is more kid-friendly than some might think.

6) The Domes - Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory

Kids love looking at and learning about the worlds plants in these three domes. Which is your favorite? The Arid Dome? The Tropical Dome? Or the Floral Show Dome? It's a great place to go when the weather is cold and icky. It'll improve everyone's mood instantly.

7) Milwaukee County Zoo
